Stay the night in an extreme emergency

Due to this accident Madeleine Bianchi and Eric Maurer had to stay the night in Swiss Alpine Club hut Voralphuette

KPT – Swiss health insurance does not want to pay!

It was a really hard descent to the Swiss Alpine Club hut! The hosts ANITA and BRUNO alarmed the Swiss Air Rescue Rega in the early morning. The Rega helicopter picked Madeleine up and transferred her to the next hospital.

Mt. Bockmattli in the Swiss Alps – rock climbers paradise with a lot of partly difficult routes in vertical big walls. Eric Maurer of Skatetrix Sport Company takes a look to these rocks were he once started with rock climbing. Believe me the walls are vertical and the overhangs horizontal! But in the midst of the wall you feel free like an eagle in its nest!

It’s awesome cold here! And the road up lika a scree slope! Eric Maurer of Skatetrix Sport Company eats his lunch quite fast, takes then some pictures, waits impatiently for GPS data and bikes shivering of cold down to the warmer valleys.

Spring is coming in the Swiss Alps quite late! Eric Maurer of Skatetrix Sport Company found a snow blanket of 1 meter height and more.
Quite hard to bike uphill. And to ride downhill!

Eric Maurer of Skatetrix Sport Company, enjoys life on ice again! After a successful aneurysma operation in 2009. And after the notification of the positive outcome about the taken tissues on February 19th: NO TUMORS IN HIS BODY! Sport and action photographer Madeleine Bianchi was present on ice with her Nikon camera to watch the skating of the former elite divison icehockey player: her brother!
