SIBERIAN AMUR TIGER
SIBERIAN AMUR TIGER (panthera tigris altaica)
Amurtiger | Tigre de Sibérie | Tigre della Siberia
A subspecies of tiger is now completely confined to the Amur-Ussuri region of Primorsky Krai and Khabarovsk Krai in far eastern Siberia, where it is now protected. It is the biggest of the eight recent tiger subspecies and the largest living felid, attaining 320 kg (710 lb) in exceptional specimens.

RED PANDA
RED PANDA (ailurus fulgens)
Kleiner Panda | Petit Panda | Panda minore
Endemic to the temperate forests of the Himalayas, the Red Panda ranges from Nepal in the west to China in the east. It is also found in northern India, Bhutan and northern Myanmar.
The Red Panda is classified as Vulnerable on the IUCN red list!

INDIAN LION
INDIAN LION (panthera leo persica)
Indischer Loewe | Lion de l’Inde | Leone dell’India
The Indian Lion is a subspecies of the lion which survives today only in the Gir Forest of Gujarat, India. In 2010, the Gujarat government reported that 411 Indian Lions were sighted in the Gir forest. A rise of 52 over the last census of 2005.
The Indian Lion is classified as Vulnerable on the IUCN red list!

Sport and action photographer MADELEINE BIANCHI on the spectacular and very exposed suspension bridge in the high Swiss Alps. Later she brokes her ankle on this photo safari. It was a really hard descent to the Swiss Alpine Club hut! The hosts ANITA and BRUNO alarmed the Swiss Air Rescue Rega in the early morning. The Rega helicopter picked Madeleine up and transferred her to the next hospital.
